My Christian parents would bring us to church each week, and my Sunday school teachers told us about the life of Jesus and that He is perfect and came to die on a cross for everyone’s sins. I learned the verse John 3:16 and understood that I was a sinner Jesus had died for me. I needed to be saved! So when I was 6 years old I went to my mom and asked for her help to get saved. She made sure I understood the Gospel and led me to Christ that day. God has been working in my life all these years since then. I am very thankful for His grace given to me. As a teen, I was serving in Germany on a mission trip when I felt a strong desire to serve in ministry, and God confirmed that again and again. After taking an internship in Hungary, I was invited to serve in Summer Camp at Word of Life Poland. Each week I saw Polish teens that were stuck in Catholicism and needed the freedom of Jesus Christ. After working with the staff and seeing the ministry, and with much prayer I determined this was where the Lord wanted me to go.
I wasn’t born into a Christian family. My mom accepted Christ when I was about three years old. This is when we really started going to church regularly. I was about five or six years old when I trusted in Christ. One night I asked my mom for help to get saved. I had been hearing about Jesus in Sunday school and what He did on the cross and I understood what it all meant. A verse that I base my salvation off of is Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Growing up attended my church’s bible clubs (Olympians) and teen group. The influence of my home church was huge and exposed me to Word of life. Bible clubs was a big deal in my home church and helped mold and shape my walk with Christ. On Word of Life Island in 2005 I decided to dedicate my life to God and let him have my life. Later attended Word of Life Bible Institute for both first and second year. After second year went on a cross cultural internship to Hungary for two years. It was there that I not only saw the need for Hungary but the need for all of Europe. During the two years I was introduced to other countries with WOL and one being Poland. During the summer of 2013 I went to Poland to serve in the camp ministry and it was there with working with the staff and connecting with the young people that it was made clear without a doubt that this is where I am to serve. This is a huge blessing to be able to invest in lives of young people and invest in the ministry that invested in me.
